New Year?
I don't celebrate New Year for so many years I can remember. I just don't feel like it. In short, never ask me to celebrate new year.

1 Nov 2011, and keep on living
Very early in the morning, and the grass is still wet with last nite's dew. I took out two packet of fertilisers that I bought the day before. I applied some to rose apple and sour sop plant. Sour sop is flowering good, but very lazy to fruit, whilst rose apple has begun to flower a few times but never get past flowering. What did I do? I applied about 200 gram of flowering inducer to rose apple, and fruiting inducer to sour sop, and will wait for 2 weeks to 1 month to see any effect.
Later, I went to my banana plant section, and found out two young shoots came out from the soil. I swear I did not notice them two days ago which was Sunday. And one of the shoot is about 6 inches high. The two shoots came out from 2 rhizomes, which formerly were 4 footer 'pisang emas' which have been 'ploughed' by wild boar to the root. That happened about 3 weeks ago. Thank God, I do not need to find new 'pisang emas' plantlet which is quite difficult to come by. Even the 'pisang emas' fruit is hard to be found in any market. Quite a rarity now. Hope the new shoots will grow fast and start to bear fruit in another 3 month or so. Wishful thinking eh? It may bear fruit in 3 months, since they are still the same rootstock.
My experiment in controlling the banana disease is not successful enough. About 4 banana plants show they are losing the battle, but the rest which are more than 20 plants show good progress. I am going to use/spray my proprietory 'chemical' more often now and with another application technique. Seems to me it can be somewhat effective if the dosage is increased, and period between application is shortened.
[ I TOLD U AM NOT INTO AGRICULTURE BUT INTO EXPERIMENTATION ]
Next, I found out rambutan tree is flowering again. God is great, ain't He? The last fruiting was about 1 month ago, and now it starts to flower again. If my memory is right, this is the fourth time the rambutan tree flowers this year alone.

When stupid people talks
When stupid people call the wise man stupid, then more stupid people will become more stupid. The wise man will be isolated, and move to other place where other wiser people live.
What happen to the stupid tribe?
They become much more stupid every single day.
The wise man will become wiser.

Be happy
I am touching on one metaphysical aspect of life, happiness.
One cancer patient survived and as matter of fact she was confirmed free of any cancer threat after focusing on her being fully healthy and followed a strict happy life to rejuvenate her body cells. After three months of practising her new life style, she got her health back. Of course, she knew how to use her subconscious mind.
Being healthy and wealthy is about you understand your life. I would say being happy, is one of key factors to achieve the two. It is understood, when you fall ill, you will generate negative energy and unfortunately the energy is trapped and collected in your body, resulting in you being more ill. Once you mingle with healthy person (positive energy) transfer of energy happens. Your negative energy is exchanged with the positive energy resulting in you become healthier. So, being happy will generate positive energy, and what more if you mix with healthy people. Your positive energy will become stronger suppressing your negative enery.
So, how wealth also relies on happiness? If you generate positive energy, you will become more confident and your positive aura will attract people to you. When people start to be attracted to you, so does your wealth, because everyone will bring wealth and opportunity to you, subconsciously.
In short, get rid of your negative energy, produce more positive energy and start keeping healthy and become wealthy.

.......and winter comes
It has been snowing for the past few days, normally it begins in the afternoon right through evening and sometimes into the night. Yes, winter has come again, and rumor has it that it will be more snowy than last year by 40%. Last year's winter was quite berable, no untowards incidents happened unlike the winter season 2006/2007 where everywhere in Johore was full of snow. (Exaggeration.....)
This time around, I hope there won't be any recurrence of 2006/2007 heavy snow which almost paralised the state of Johore. Many people were evacuated to higher grounds. My parents home where I stay right now was also affected.
My main concern when winter comes is the soil. If indeed it is submerged under the snow, the soil will be depleted of minerals and nutrients making it infertile. That means, I have to rejuvenate the small plot of land again. The soil will become acidic and won't be suitable for planting.
I am not bothered with evacuation, if needs be, It could be fun though.
Whatever it is, I pray that this winter there will be no flood or what so ever in my area.

One Month After
My last posting was on the video ban. Actually, I have lots of issues to share, unfortunately, I did not focus enough to put my thoughts on this blog. Apart from being busy using my mind to think, I was also busy tending to my agricultural experiment.
One of my girlfriends asked me, why am I so into agriculture? I told her I am not into agriculture, but I am into experimentation.
What have I found after years of experimentation? (ehem, so to speak...)
1. Rejuvenation of 'dead soil' takes so long a time and effort, and money too. I have managed to turn the small plot of land into a little more fertilised land, eventhough it hasn't reach the fertility rate I want. This is done through using a lot of Effective Microbes, lime, zeolite, and manure.
2. The use of EM cannot guarantee much, even though I can see some improvement on plants
3. I have also managed to produce own EM using own method
4. I know that durian plant is easily grafted and almost sure of the success
5. Banana plant is easily attacked by virus and the diseases are normally known as Panama, Moko, and Shigotako. Use of lots of EM by spraying to the wound and also to soil can slow down the effect of the banana plant disease. As far as my experiment is concerned, EM used hasn't been succesful to eliminate the virus.
6. A lot of weaving ant (kerengga)on your plant is dangerous not only to your plant, but also to you. ha ha.
7. Rose Apple (jambu air) needs many horizontal branch for it to produce lots of flower
8. And some of the fruit plant, we can train them into living fence, and I plan to do some training experiment on that, very soon and also to check if my assumption is right. My assumption is Rose Apple needs horizontal branch to fruit, and minimal number of branch will produce lots of fruits.
For now, till I write again.

Ramadhan and Gastritis
I think I started to practise fasting when I was in standard two. That was in 1978. Like other kids, I didn't manage to fast for the whole Ramadhan month. Half day fasting was very normal. Or commonly known as 'Puasa Yang Yok, Pagi Pagi Buka Periuk'. Fortunately I didn't break my fast in the morning but only after reaching home from school estimatedly at about 1.00 pm.
That was many years ago. Gradually after a few years of observing fasting, I managed to fast for the whole month. Breaking fast was the moment we waited eagerly everyday for us kids. My mother would prepare kuih and some other meals which in today's standard was a lot!
In 1986, a terrible 'accident' happened during Ramadhan. The 'accident' was the 'reason' why I couldn't fast for the whole of Ramadhan month till present moment. I was down with food poisoning, and it was my own mistake. I wanted to have 'sambal ikan bilis' and bought a can of the said sambal from a nearby supermarket. Little did I know that the 'sambal ikan bilis' was no more suitable for consumption.
I was technically bedridden for a few days, and ate very little since I was very ill and couldn't stand any smell. I would throw out just by the smell of rice. I was very naive then and quite stubborn when I never seek any medical treatment.
The price of being naive? I am now having gastritis and basically a strange one. I can get one when my stomach is extremely empty, or when I am full, or for unknown reason or taking exposed meal. I learn to take a precaution measure and develop my own precaution technique.
I will take the precaution measure when my stomach tells me 'it is gastritis time...'
I will find a place, private place is a must, and force fart. In other word, I force myself to fart until there is no more gas in my stomach!
But that can be succesful when I am fully awake, but not when I am sleeping.

Take the pain out of your body
Some of you might have followed this blog since beginning. Previously it was on mindpower, but I changed it to allow me to write on anything under the sun.
This time, I want to share a technique that I normally use to get rid of any pain.
You need to use your hand as if you are picking something.
What you need to do is to check where the pain is, and by using your hand/palm, imagine you pick the pain, and throw it somewhere. You must believe that the pain is taken out of your body.
If it is not succeful, it means your power of imagination is weak. So, practise more.

EM-1 and EMAS
Some of you might have heard of EM-1 and EMAS especially to those who are into gardening. EM stands for Effective Microbes, while EM-1 generally refers to the first stage of EM. EM-1 is basically produced by mixing molasses and organic matters in a certain ratio and leave them to ferment for a few weeks. (he he, I am keeping the secret for the time being)
EMAS refers to EM Activated Solution. (What? Do you think EMAS is gold?)How to make EMAS? By mixing EM-1, molasses, and non-chlorinated water on 1:1:18 and leave it for at least 7 days. But, of course you must use a clean water container to get the right mix.
EM gives us many benefits. Generally, it is used for gardening as catalyst for plants to grow healthier by assisting organic matters like manure turns into "fertiliser" faster and more efficient. Soil, with good number of microbes is considered good soil and ready to be fertilised. The fertiliser then 'turns' into food and consumed by plants.
EM can also be used to control plant viruses and bad bacterias found on plant and in soil. It can also be used in pest control.
The technique of using EMAS is depending on our purpose. The dilution ratio is wide between 1:50 to 1:1000.
Note: I make my own EM-1, EMAS and use them to rejuvenate the soil within the compound. Am stil doing research on EM and at present moment am fermenting a more potent EM-1 and will be ready perhaps in one month's time.

Durian season and other fruits
Durian season is here again, and mangosteen, rambutan, pulasan, and cempedak. At least in my area, Batu Pahat, Johore. For those who want to purchase durians cheaply, as cheap as RM1 per kg, go to Parit Sulong, in the late afternoon. But, don't believe my words easily coz I can't promise the price I have just mentioned, is still on offer. But I know for sure a 'good' durian kampung you can get cheapest at RM2 per kg.
This is the time for us to get cheaper priced durian, may be for the next 4 weeks, as mentioned to me by a durian seller last week.
Meanwhile for mangosteen, rambutan, pulasan and cempedak, we need to wait since they have just started to ripen. Mangosteen might already on sale now. Rambutan may take another month, pulasan perhaps will take the same time as rambutan... Haiya, all four will take almost the same time to ripe. At least true to me, since we have a few fruit trees in my mother's house compound.

Change of Title
I decided to change this header into a new one. From De Sound to My Thoughts simply to add more space for me to write. It is an extension from the previous narrower topic which was in Mind Power. I believe by changing the title header, more ideas will flow into my head, and I can freely write whatever I want on whatever topics.
